Dr. Adam V. Levy finished his undergraduate education at the University of California – Santa Cruz. He then completed his medical training at the University of Southern California – Keck School of Medicine. After completing an Internship at LA County-USC Women’s Hospital, he continued his training at the University of California – San Francisco OB/GYN program in Fresno, CA. He became a U.S. Air Force Captain during his last two years at UCSF and when finished training, began his tour of duty at Nellis AFB in Las Vegas, NV.
He was deployed to Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm where he was stationed at the Riyadh International Airport. He was decorated for his tour and received an Honorable Discharge as a USAF Major. Once in private practice, he began participating in Medical Education with the OB/GYN program of the University of Nevada School of Medicine. Dr. Levy held positions that included Clerkship Coordinator, Community Liaison OB/GYN, Lecturer, Director: Community OB/GYN Services, and several other positions during the 30 years of practice in Las Vegas. Presently, he is Associate Professor of OB/GYN, Director: Ryan Program, Director: Division of Family Planning, UNLV School of Medicine.
He actively collaborates with several departments where he helps provide contraceptive and adolescent pediatric training for residents. Dr Levy has active research projects in pain control for outpatient surgery, pelvic rehabilitation, and in family planning. His training includes General OB/GYN, Family Planning, GYN Urology, Advanced endoscopic surgery, as well as Vasectomy. He has active clinical practice at the UNLV Medicine Women’s Center, University Medical Center, Sunrise Hospital Medical Center, and the Birth Control Care Center.
